There are three roads leading to Weymouth and numerous bus routes and a rail link from as far as way as Waterloo London and Bristol, both stopping at many points on the way.
How to get to us by car:
If you are in East Dorset you have two ways of coming to HotSpring Spas of Weymouth. At the end of Dorset Way, Upton Road, Poole ( Bakers Arms Roundabout) take the A35 to Bere Regis passing through Sleep and past Bloxworth. You might like to take note of Woodbury Hill on your right just before cresting the hill into Bere Regis as it is actually a natural occurring bowl in the top of the hill and was a Yearly market from medieval times right up the middle of the last century. Drop down into Bere Regis and take the second exit off the roundabout, continue to the next roundabout first exit onto the A35 to Dorchester. The dual carriageway takes you past Puddletown and Troytown and then merges into an ordinary ‘A’ road a mile before Dorchester at Stinsford you will join the Dorchesterbypass, take the first exit off the roundabout. The second exit is a roundabout alongside the Dorchester Football Club, take the first exit off the roundabout heading on the A354 to Weymouth. Travel past Winterborne Monkton and continue up the hill to the crest which is called Ridgeway - at this point if it is a lovely day you will have a panoramic vista of Weymouth and Portland before you. As you drop down into Weymouththere is a sharp ‘Hairpin’ and then you join Dorchester Road. On your left you will pass road names in this order, Chapel Lane, Victoria Avenue and at this point you should be able to see the overhead gantries for the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn left onto Littlemoor Road, go under the RailwayBridge down to the roundabout, go straight across, pass a shopping centre on your right and after passing the fields on your left (Approx 500 metres from the shopping centre) turn left into Goulds Garden Centre. We are a separate unit on your left on a rise.
Alternatively you can take the first left off The Bakers Arms the A351 heading towards Wareham, this is the coastal route and will take you past Holton Heath and through Sandford (be careful here as there is a ‘speed camera’ and it is active) and Northport before dropping down over the railway bridge to enter Wareham. Just before the town of Wareham starts there is a roundabout take the second exit for the ‘Wareham bypass’ and continue to the next roundabout and take the third exit the A352 towards Wool. You will find speed restrictions of 50mph down to 40mph in the last one there is another working ‘speed camera’, continue on to you come to a roundabout, first exit towards Wool, over the railway crossing and continue to the first roundabout, straight over and continue. You will pass Winfrith and then Owermoigne where you will join a dual carriageway. At the end of the dual carriageway you will come to a large roundabout called Warmwell Cross, first exit towards Weymouth. Continue on that road and you will go through Poxwell, Osmington and as you are going down the hill to Weymouth you will see the ‘White Horse’ cut into the hills on your right. The first roundabout you come to is called Chalbury Roundabout and take the second exit on to Littlemoor road and we three quarters of a mile on the right. Just pass the school.
If you coming down from the north east of Dorset:
Take your best route to Bere Regis and take the road directly south to Wool and follow the instructions in the alternative route above to Weymouth.
From North Dorset:
Find your best route to Dorchester, follow the Dorchester bypass until you come to the roundabout by Dorchester Football Club and turn right for Weymouth and then follow instructions as in first set.
From West Dorset:
You can either follow similar instructions as with North Dorset using the A35 or you can travel the coast road the B3157. This is a very scenic route and from Bridport you will pass through villages such as Burton Bradstock, Swyre, Abbotsbury and Portesham. After you past Portesham the road meanders somewhat but you will see a longish hill in front of you. Just before the crest of the hill there is a turn off on to a country road. Turn left on to it and you are heading for Nottington, follow the road all the way through until you come to Dorchester Road. At the junction of Dorchester Road turn left as if you are driving away from Weymouth. You go down an incline and will pass the ‘Swan’ pub on your left in 400 meters you will approach a set of traffic lights make sure you are in the right hand lane, and when given the green arrow turn right in Littlemoor Road. Again follow the instructions as above from the Dorchester to Weymouth route.
Train Routes:
Trains arrive in Weymouth from two directions but converge at Dorchester where they travel on to Weymouth. The main line is from Waterloo, London and the other is from Bristol. A lot of the stations passed through are request stops you literary put your hand up as you would a Taxi both most are conventional stations.
